I think this will work better in the meantime.

  2. I have 50 more minutes to work on this today, so I'm going to start bringing the LambdaConf pages up to date according to the style guide.

After that (probably tomorrow), I'm going to start editing the main page links down to properly cited pages only.

Then after that, I'll start editing the well-cited, non-LambdaConf pages to bring them into stylistic conformity.

  3. SJW Hunter, why did you block SjwSlayer?

  4. Great Idea man :P

I'm going to go into the Shapiro page and add in all kind of stuff in regards to Grabgate. It will probably require I add in a page for Fields and that WaPo reporter, and the cameraman that was also involved.

It was a big deal - i'll just only link to actual articles

  5. I am full of it, where "it" includes some great ideas.

  6. Strategically speaking, I think we should try to get a more or less comprehensive list in the tech and engineering world first, then expand from there.

  7. I thought if someone signed lambdaconf, that was enough for them to get in the list?

    1. It is, I just want a large number of pages on the main page to look tidy.

  8. I will work on sourcing all the names presently on the main page.

The Ben Shapiro inclusion is so thorny. He deserves to be listed, yes, but there are also strong reasons against it, and I understand Admin's decision in that regard.

    ReplyDelete
  9. I am in favor of inclusion because we are more concerned with the SJW *tactics* than politics. This is a good way to delineate that.

    ReplyDelete
  10. Less accomplished today than expected, but not bad. See y'all tomorrow.

  11. Whenever it is decided to include Shapiro, let me know.
I have a ton of information about Grabgate.
There are so many "me too" clowns calling for a guy to get fired.
Which is pretty much what we are wanting, if I understand correctly.

    1. I am personally ambivalent on that. My only interest is to remove the tacit cultural approval for flash mobs trying to silence political dissent.

    2. I've already made the decision to remove him. He fails the "Social Justice" test and I want to keep this list as clear as possible. Including him just muddies the water. I'm keeping his page for now, we may include it on a future Cuckservatives page.

    3. Sounds good. I was of that opinion he is a Cuckservative anyway.

  12. Hey guys, we're famous! Shapiro devoted the opening monologue of his show to his inclusion on the list. It's hilarious;

  17. Ah ok. I've just finished a new page and it's a big pain with the thing locking up like this.

  19. I've a question. In this new page

    http://sjwlist.com/Barbara_Barrett

An SJW was discovered at The Cimmerian blog. The owner, in a most epic and awesome dismissal of an SJW in recorded history, wiped her from the blog. If you haven't seen it, do yourself a favor and enjoy the fuck out of it :P

So the question comes in, when he did that, it smoked out several more SJWs who abandoned the blog. Should I make a page for each of those? I don't have anything other than their solidarity with this particular SJW.

It's also difficult to find the actual situation that occurred, as I believe it was all in a limited run print of a couple amatuer press releases.

I can make a page for them and then say See Barbara Barrett.

    ReplyDelete

    1. Facts only bro, keep it tight. Association doesn't qualify.

      Delete
    2. Look at the page if you get a chance. I put it under the category Code of Conduct, as that was specifically stated by Leo. I included links to the ones who joined the SJW and bailed on the blog. I think it's a good example of the damage an entryist and their supporters can do to a website.

      Delete
    3. No-platforming/abandoning/ostracizing a site because you disagree with the owner's politics AND support a SJW entryist trying to get others fired for it isn't much different than those who signed the LambdaConf.

So if they severed ties with a site over this, by all means add them.

If they merely virtue-signaled support for Barbara Barrett, don't include them.

      Delete
    4. Ok, I'll add them later. Wish I had a name for this incident, like Grabgate or Gamergate. Would make it easier to tie the bunch together.

  21. Ddos is gonna be the least of our problems. A bunch of these tech SJWs work for Google.

    ReplyDelete
  22. If they doxx me, people will be cheering and raising hell and demand I come out of hiding after all these years :P

    ReplyDelete
  23. Things are running *very* smoothly right now. I installed mod_evasive to cut off most of the DDOS reloaders and now the server is running at 4-10% capacity. I may scale it down later to save money, but it appears we are out of the woods for now.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Excellent. Thanks for the work, Cynic in Chief.

    ReplyDelete

    Something like "Donglegate", "Grabgate", etc?

  32. I'm concerned about the fragility of the archiving system. As mentioned before, these are mostly tech folks so far. There's a large chance that an SJW is working at one of the archivists, and a non-negligible chance that one of the archivists is already converged. If the archive goes rogue, we lose all those cites.

However, if we had two archived links for each cite, and one of the archivists goes rogue...that would bring down that archivist completely. Antifragile.

    This is a medium-term concern.

    ReplyDelete

    1. Let someone else sperg out on double archiving the posts...

  36. Adding companies is good and a big undertaking, with many paragraphs for the misdeeds. Something like a section on the Main Page entitled "SJW Converged Companies".

With regards to individuals, it might even make sense to take a few off the list (see a topic I started on the Talk Page). Our criteria at present should be very, very strict.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Ok guys, I want you to take a look on the unofficial talk page.
At the very bottom, I put the entire list from that page into a 5 column table.

What do you think? Something like this might be useful for the list of names?

  38. list is down again. SteelPalm, I saw your question about that fish guy. If you have a link to him claiming to cancel projects, that seems a good enough reason to include him, IMO. But it might be wise to email Vox and see what he thinks. Some of these are in a grey area.

  41. Hey guys, everything seems to be quiet right now. I scaled the server down (the only downtime the site has had so far this evening) so it won't be charging me too much. I also fended off a complaint that got filed against the site. The host took a look at it and said I was complying with the law and user agreement and dismissed it. Otherwise everything seems to be going good.

Unless something else crops up I'm going to take the night off. Tomorrow I'll setup a few more extensions and then we might be able to reenable new accounts. The extensions let us manually approve new accounts and moderate every change made to the wiki. This lets others contribute without the rampant vandalism we saw over the weekend. I'm also setting up a secondary server with sleeked down software that we may transition to for the long term of the site. As always, I'm making daily backups of everything in case something goes wrong.

Thank you very much guys for your hard work. This would be an impossible task if not for you all. Enjoy the squealing and cursing that the SJWs are doing.

  44. I thought of a great way for people to get off the list: They have to sign a petition for someone to get their job back. Or something like that. Proof of repentance, essentially.

We could run signature drives for people who've had their lives ruined, like Tim Hunt et al.

    ReplyDelete
  45. WerePuppy, the categories now indicate the industry a person is in, not a particular event like TheCimmerian blog (whatever that is).

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Uh oh. I made a category for Baldur's GateGate and one for The Cimmerian.

If we don't use category for that, we need some way of indicating particular events for the SJWs.

I keep mentioning the cimmerian because i worked on it recently. In that one, the main SJW gets put into the category of "Code of Conduct". The three other SJWs who were smoked out when she got eliminated don't fit under Code of Conduct, but they are part of the cimmerian event.

Another point is GamerGate. This is a category. GamerGate is so huge, it will have individual events within it. For instance, this Baldur's GateGate (lol) is a subset of GamerGate. So it is cool to put it under the category of GamerGate, but needs it's own Baldur's GateGate to tie those individual participants together, within the larger GamerGate context.

So if we don't wan't to use category for that, how is another way to approach this?

  60. Peppermint, I disagree that undergrads do not qualify for the "Academic" category. They participate in the convergence of academic communities, therefore this should be flagged.

    ReplyDelete
  61. Excellent work, folks. Two ideas I've had recently;

    1. Start a separate category for "SJW Journalists". Some of them, like Damien Walter, haven't technically called for anyone to be disemployed, but they insult and lob false accusations at anyone who disagrees with the SJW Narrative, attempting to destroy their careers.

They deserve a category separate from, for instance, most of the signatures against LambdaConf.

    2. Have a separate section on the Main Page for heavily SJW converged companies. Again, be very strict here, and stick to ones with extensive documentation of their bias/censoring, like Wikipedia, Facebook, Twitter, Goodreads, etc.

Let me know what you all think.

    ReplyDelete

    1. I agree about the SJW Converged companies.

    2. I think it should be in a separate section linked on the main page instead of a section. I'm trying to keep the main page simple. We can add pages for converged companies, cuckservatives, and sleazy journalists, but still keep the main page clean.

  64. Sorry Aeoli, I'm not completely understanding what it is you're doing.

I spent a lot of time digging up info on the following:

    Sir Tim Hunt situation
    Justine Sacco
    Pax Dickinson
    Adria Richards "Donglegate"

Which I'll be working on probably tonight.

    ReplyDelete
  65. With regards to Scalzi, his only relevant misdeed is getting Vox illegally kicked out of the SFWA. Everything else, for the purposes of the list, is besides the point.

    ReplyDelete
  66. Well, change of plans. Vox asked me to do get the women behind Social Autopsy Kickstarter in there.

    ReplyDelete
  67. Let me know when you guys can deal with a brief outage. I want to downscale the server again. Even with Breitbart linking us the CPU usage is tiny.

Also I'm thinking about hosting a SJWList Admin Google Hangout or shared Skype call. Let me know if anyone is interested.

    ReplyDelete
  68. I don't have Google Hangout, but a Skype call sounds good.

    ReplyDelete
  69. I'm having a hard time getting the info for this social autopsy, i think they are going through a DDOS attack or something.

Not sure I have a headset or mic - will have to check. Definitely don't have a webcam here.

    1. Well, wait, I do have my laptop here, i think it's got a cam built in.

      Delete
  70. Bah - this site for socialautopsy is hosed. 503 errors.

    ReplyDelete
  71. SocialAutopsy is probably on shared hosting. The traffic is killing the server and they don't know how to move it to a scalable system. *sarcasm* I'm sure one of them will eventually figure it out.

No webcams. Any shared calls will be audio-only to protect privacy. If you have an anonymous Google account you can do Hangouts. A headset is preferred to prevent echoing, but if you don't have one don't let it keep you from joining in.

I've went ahead and scaled the server down again. I can support it long-term at this price level (about $20/month). Even down at the level it's at it seems to be handling everything rather well.

I've went ahead and installed an extension that will allow all edits made by non-admins to be on hold until approved or rejected by an admin. The moderation page is at http://sjwlist.com/Special:Moderation and can also be found in the "Special Pages" section. I've got another extension that will let us selectively approve new accounts. After things slow down I'll activate it and we can start taking in new people while still keeping the place locked down.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. That all sounds good. I looked and I don't seem to have my headset with a mic around here. I guess it's in storage back in my previous state. SO I'll probably have to aquire a new one.

  72. Hey everyone,

Vox has sent me another set of things he'd like. I'm going to paste it here so you can all see it.

What I believe he is asking is something we sort of have already. But he wants it on the main page.

Add these lists to the main page please:

    GGautoblocker: https://github.com/freebsdgirl/ggautoblocker
    Atheism+ blockbot list: http://www.theblockbot.com/sign_up/followthefollowers/blocks_by_level.html/

We should add all the SJW lists we can find to the other lists category. That will undercut their hypocrisy in complaining about SJW List. Do NOT divide the lists into "good" and "bad" lists, put them all in there together, in alphabetical order. The SJW pages can also have pages about them as well, however.

We have nothing to say about JudasWatch or whatever. They are simply Other Lists.

    Thanks,
    Vox

    --

So lets take a look into this. Now I've got a ton regarding a BlockBot and the GG Autoblocker, but those are found under the Twitter converged page, and Randi Lee Harpers page.

I'm only in for a moment, and will return in a bit.
When I get back, I'm going to try and wrap up that SocialAutopsy.com business, and then hopefully you guys have an idea on what to do with Vox request here.

    ReplyDelete

    1. Ok, I added those links to the bottom where it says list provided by others or w/e. I believe that is what Vox is asking for.

      Delete
    2. just so you guys know, this is exactly what Vox wanted.

      Delete
  73. Oh, and regarding the categories.
I see you guys are wanting those to be more high level and generic categories, not specific events.

I did see a link to an "events" page. So I'll go back and put the ones where I made a category for an event, and swap those into using an actual event.

    Probably way later today.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. The problem with the events is it won't link them all together without hand placing the links. The category does it automatically.

      Delete
  74. Aeoli, are you sure about deleting Anita Sarkeesian and Arthur Chu?

I got a reply back from Vox, and he believes that Phil Fish specifically and all other "famous SJWs" in general belong on the list. By that rubric, both Sarkeesian and Chu certainly merit inclusion.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. If they have called for censorship, than they do belong. I believe both Sarkeesian and Chu have done so, Sarkeesian before the UN and Chu in numerous articles.

    3. I will add them back for now.

      Delete
    4. Well, I was sure at the time, now I'm thinking I should take today off.

      Delete
    5. No worries. I remember my first edits were to add about 30+ Hollywood celebrities to the list...only to delete them all right after, when Vox said we should refrain from that.

There is a lot of grey area, especially with such a strict criteria.

      Delete
  75. Ok everyone, i finally got the SocialAutopsy.com thing in there.
Added a ton of pages, I think maybe 30 new names to the list, all of them have a link to their individual page at their team site.

Going to take a good long break, be back later.

    ReplyDelete
  76. Now I fell kind of silly. I worked up this stuff from an email from Vox about Bob Keen. After was done, realized his name is Bob Keene, and Steel had already done something for that one :P I added in a link and category there SteelPalm, so no worries

If I understand this right, it was archived on the Jan 8, 2016. BB announced Milo was unverified on Jan 9, 2016.

What is interesting is there is a guy in there that works at Twitter, Michael J. Manson.

Interesting, isn't it? This must be an example of the "appeal to a benevolent authortity" or w/e it is Vox calls that.

  80. OK, got a little time.

I had previously dug up a bunch of info on the Pax Dickinson event, will update the existing pages with the information, and create an SJW event for it.

  81. Hey guys, I'm now on Skype under the username CynicInChief.

I've got an email server setup. I'll make accounts for each admin to use. There also appears to be a built-in chat system, though I don't quite know how it works.

Sorry for the lack of additional work. I'm going crazy at my full-time day job. We have to deliver a product by next Tuesday and we're working overtime (typically 10 hour days) trying to get it setup and debugged before we ship. After then I should be more free to deploy the ConfirmAccount extension and we can open the wiki up some more.

  83. Peppermint, if you find your way here, lets discuss the categories and events. I agree with you on it, but lets iron it out.

  84. Goodness me, it's been a little while. I'm gonna have a look over the main page and see if anybody still lacks citations.

  85. Mattress Girl is still on here. We decided to exclude false rape accusers, so I'm going to pull Emma Sulkowhatsit unless someone protests.

    1. I'll say this, I think this project could be very easily extended to include false rape accusers.

    2. As a different page, mind. Not as SJWs.

      Delete
    3. WHo is the "We" you are talking about? I was not consulted on it? Mattress Girl is an SJW if ever there was one. Would you want to hire her?

      Delete
    4. Yeah, I would keep her on. False accusations intended to destroy opposition is a hallmark of SJWs and a related tactic to blacklisting anti-SJW thought criminals.

    5. >WHo is the "We" you are talking about?

Honestly, I can't remember. It was re: Lucy DeCoutere.

      >Mattress Girl is an SJW if ever there was one. Would you want to hire her?

What *I* want is irrelevant, because I am an extreme outlier.

      >Yeah, I would keep her on. False accusations intended to destroy opposition is a hallmark of SJWs and a related tactic to blacklisting anti-SJW thought criminals.

Please compare to Lucy DeCoutere: http://sjwlist.com/Lucy_DeCoutere

If she accused someone of rape as a political thing, then okay. But if it was just neuroses, she wouldn't be an SJW.

      Delete
    6. You know the Breitbart article even mentioned Mattress Girl is in the list.

I haven't seen any reason to not put the false rape accusers. What is the exact reasoning? I was going to eventually dig up that Duke University thing from some years back.

  86. Damien Walter's page needs attention.

Jeffrey Shanks' response to The Cimmerian does not qualify for the list, he merely disassociated from them.

Glad to see we have the Mandate of Heaven on Shapiro.

Scalzi's page still needs work. He's one of the more likely folks to use legal attack dogs, so I want that page shiny.

    Otherwise no complaints.

    1. Okay, Walter and Scalzi's pages are nice and shiny. There ought to be no doubt in the mind of a reasonable 3rd party now, regardless of anything they say in retrospect.

  87. Alison Bechdel doesn't qualify under our criteria. However, I think she's an obvious case of an SJW, and would not object to the label. I wouldn't make this a rule on the front page, but I think we should include famous internet personalities who meet those two requirements, even if they haven't provably gone after someone's job.

    1. On these grounds, I've put the names of those who disassociated from The Cimmerian blog back on the main page.

  88. Final thought: I think it's time to open up the e-mail address for submissions from outside. We can give it a shot as admins, then once we get the hang of it we can bring in some trusted people to browse the e-mail (posting these to the unofficial list), then admins can take it from there.

  89. Ok, I'm thinking of now working up a page regarding the Michelle Fields incident. She was basically trying to get a guy fired.

There's so many of these SJW incidents that it's hard to pick one to focus on, but this is the one I will work on next.

  90. Added you two to Skype. Been a bit busy with real life recently, but should have plenty of editing time available in the coming week.

  91. Hey guys, I've got a thing here - a document - can it be set up like the lamdaconf? It's a bunch of "conservative" women demanding the guy be fired
[http://archive.is/mzGr5 Conservative female journalists’ open letter to Trump: Tell Lewandowski ‘You’re fired!’]

This is the names from it:
    Dana Loesch
    Katie Pavlich
    Meghan McCain
    S.E. Cupp
    Mary Katherine Ham
    Christine Rosen
    Christina Hoff Sommers
    Bethany Mandel
    Emily Zanotti
    Elisha Krauss
    Karol Markowicz
    Kirsten Soltis Anderson
    Mona Charen
    Sara Rumpf
    Brooke Rogers
    Mary Chastain

I'm not sure how to process this part. It should at the least be linked into the GrabGate category.

    ReplyDelete
  92. Props to you guys for getting Heather Hackman on there so quickly.

As for the list above, I would classify them as cuckservatives more than SJWs. While they were trying to fire Lewandowski, it was ostensibly for "assault", not disagreeing with the Narrative.

Now the original person who advanced those allegations with the help of a SJW journalist, Michelle Fields? Her I would certainly add.

    ReplyDelete
  93. Steel, I have added Michelle Fields. Ben Shapiro got an update for it as well, in regards for the calling for the guy to be fired.

The above are in a document already, in the event category. They were all calling for a guy to get fired, on an allegation. They are part of the event. I don't have to add a page for them.

    ReplyDelete
  94. Hmm maybe it would be useful if a couple you others can take a look at what I did. It's entirely possible I missed something important. But I think I got the majority of GrabGate in there.

    ReplyDelete
  95. Emailed Vox about it, this was his response:

Leave them out. They're not SJWs, they are feminists. The whole point is actions in service of social justice, not anything else.

    --

I was looking at it as the calling for someone to be fired. But yeah, the motive is important as well.

Opinions please. I say yes on the grounds that this isn't "regret rape", it's feminism. Now, obviously she was inspired to action by her gag reflex, but the focused attempt to destroy was motivated by virtue signalling.

    1. Notes:

      * Charlotte Proudman complained after lawyer commented about her looks
      * The 27-year-old barrister complained she had been 'objectified' online
      * Miss Proudman herself commented on the way men look on the internet
      * She told one man that he was 'hot stuff' and a second was 'Ooo la la'
      * Barrister believes male-dominated workplaces are 'repugnant' places

    2. Put it on. Feminism is a component of the SJW narrative and her actions follow the SJW actions all the way: point and shriek, demand apology, refuse apology, show trial, etc. The end goal is to destroy his reputation and get him fired.
